Nick Hiley

Nick Hiley is currently the MD and Head of US Sales at Panmure Gordon. Nick has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, working their way up from a trainee solicitor to their current role.

Nick started their career at Slaughter and May in 1985 as a trainee solicitor. Nick then moved to SBC Warburg in 1988, where they became Co-Head of European Equity Sales. In 1998, they left SBC Warburg to join Commerzbank Securities as Head of Brokerage. There, they were quickly promoted to Head of International Equities for North America.

In 2005, Nick moved to Citigroup as Managing Director and Head of US Sales for London. Three years later, they returned to North America to take on the role of Managing Director and Head of Equities North America for UniCredit. In 2012, they joined Canaccord Genuity Inc. as MD and Head of European Equities in New York.

Nick has been with Panmure Gordon since 2014, where they are responsible for leading the US sales team. Under their leadership, the team has achieved consistent growth and is now one of the leading sales teams in the US.

Nick Hiley completed their Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Columbia Law School and went on to get their Master’s Degree in Finance & Investment from Cass Business School. Nick is also certified by the New York State Bar Association in New York Bar.

They work with Eric Scheurer - MD, Head of Finance & Risk, Sapna Shah - MD, Co-Head Investment Funds, and Adam Howson - MD, Head of Execution. Nick Hiley reports to Rich Ricci, CEO.
