John Ong

John Ong has a long and varied work experience in the technology industry. John started their career in 1994 as a Senior Sales Engineer at UIC Computer Systems. In 1997, they moved to Compaq / Digital Equipment as a Service Account Manager. In 2000, they returned to Check Point Software Technologies as a Major Account Manager. In 2006, they worked as a Sales Manager for NetIQ Asia and a District Sales Manager for Encentuate Pte Ltd. In 2007, they were promoted to Regional Director, South Asia at Check Point Software Technologies, where they were responsible for growing the business in Southeast Asia through strategic planning, channel management, account management, execution and strategic marketing. John also managed a team across Southeast Asia and established thought leadership through engagements with analysts, press and marketing activities. In 2012, they became Regional Director, Asia at AlgoSec. Currently, they are Regional Director, APAC at Panorays, where they are responsible for breaking new markets in APAC with partners, creating and establishing new and recurrent revenue streams and ensuring unparalleled customer service.

John Ong attended Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor in Applied Science in Computer Technology/Engineering.
