André Anselmo

André Anselmo has a diverse work experience in the field of Data Engineering. André is currently working as a Data Engineer at Pantheon Inc, where they collaborate with global teams and develops and maintains Data Solutions for ExxonMobil. André works closely with business clients to refine data requirements and ensure data quality. André creates data pipelines and applies transformations using tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, SQL Server, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Prior to their current role, André worked as a Data Engineer at Eleflow Big Data, where they developed and maintained Data Solutions for Brazilian and global clients. André utilized various tools and technologies including Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure Event Hub, Data Lake Store, Python, PySpark, and T-SQL.

Earlier in their career, André worked at Wiz Soluções as a Data Engineer/Data Lead. André served as a Technical Team Leader and collaborated with product owners and business leaders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical features and user stories. André successfully migrated the organization from on-premises infrastructure to Azure Cloud technologies and designed and implemented a new architecture utilizing cloud solutions.

At Wiz Soluções, André also worked as a DBA/ETL Analyst where they designed and implemented ETL processes using SSIS and managed backup, replication, and SQL Server update processes. André also monitored jobs and optimized the performance of slow queries.

André's early work experience includes a role as an ETL Analyst where they implemented ETL processes, designed databases, and performed data analysis for sales and financial teams. André was responsible for report delivery and database script optimization for financial calculations. André utilized skills such as MS SQL Server, SSIS, C#, SSAS, and T-SQL.

Throughout their career, André has gained expertise in various data engineering tools and technologies, demonstrating their versatility and adaptability in working with different clients and organizations.

André Anselmo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Paulista, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. In 2011, they earned the Exam 98-364 - Database Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. In 2016, they acquired two certifications from Microsoft, namely Exam 70-761: Querying Data with Transact-SQL - SQL Server 2016 and Exam 70-764: Administering a Microsoft SQL Database Infrastructure. More recently, in 2022 and 2023, André obtained the Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals certification and the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate certification from Databricks, respectively. André also holds the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification, which they obtained by passing the DP-203 exam in 2023.
