Ilias Mahmud

Ilias has an educational background in synthetic organic chemistry and material science. His practical experience with organic synthesis is particularly comprised of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), drug impurities, amino acid/peptide drug standards, metabolite standards, as well as their stable isotope labelled analogues and radio pharmaceuticals, biodegradable polymers and catalysis. He has a strong passion for the discovery of targeted therapies/API in a fast-paced environment. Ilias has over 15 years of experience in research and development works at industrial/academic institutions and has a very good understanding of the requirements of the Generic Pharmaceutical Industries. He has worked in medical devices, pharmaceutical and biotech industries for both start-ups and well established companies.
