Jason Tucker

Jason Tucker's work experience includes a role as a Managing Director of Investment Banking at Paradigm Capital, starting in December 2020. Prior to this, they were a Partner and Research Analyst at the same company from October 2013 to December 2020. In this role, they maintained a research coverage universe of Canadian oilfield service companies, provided investment recommendations to clients, and produced industry scorecards on oil and gas plays. Jason also built and maintained relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Before joining Paradigm Capital, Jason worked as a Research Associate at the company from August 2011 to October 2013. In this position, they conducted financial analysis, built financial models, and published research reports on Canadian oil and gas companies and the oilfield services industry.

Prior to their experience at Paradigm Capital, Jason worked as a Treasury Analyst at Newalta from March 2010 to August 2011. In this role, they managed working capital, built financial models, and led research on hedging programs.

Jason started their career as an Analyst - Intern at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets from January 2008 to August 2009. Jason also held positions as a Financial Analyst at the Department of Transportation Province of New Brunswick from February 2006 to September 2007, and as a Marketing Analyst at Enbridge Gas New Brunswick, Inc. from February 2005 to February 2006.

Jason Tucker completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of New Brunswick in the years 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from McMaster University from 2007 to 2009.
