Thomas Schenk

Thomas Schenk, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Paradigm, a pioneer in value-based specialty care management. In addition to this role, Thomas acts as a Strategic Advisor for Ognomy, enhancing virtual solutions for sleep apnea management, and is a Senior Advisor for The Blue Venture Fund. Previously, Thomas was the Chief Medical Officer at Welvie, improving patient-physician interactions through decision-support systems, and held the position of EVP, Chief Medical Officer at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York, overseeing significant medical expenditures and managing a large team. As the Founder and CEO of Latus Medical Care, Thomas established a patient-centered primary care practice. Early career experiences include managing a pediatric practice at Delaware Pediatric Associates. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry from Cornell University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.
