David Kaufman has over 20 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. David began their career as a Pharmacist at the Forest County Potawatomi Health Center in July 1998 and held this role until October 2020. During this time, they were responsible for dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care to patients. In January 2015, David joined Paradise Genomics as a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee. Their role involved providing scientific expertise and guidance to the company. In October 2020, David transitioned to the Sokaogon Chippewa Health Clinic, where they currently serve as the Director of Pharmacy Services. In this position, they oversee the pharmacy operations and ensures the safe and effective use of medications within the organization.
David Kaufman attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree in the field of Pharmacy. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist from the Mayo Clinic in March 2016 and as an Anticoagulation Therapy Management specialist from the University of Southern Indiana in December 2014.
