Alexandra Durham

Alexandra Durham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alexandra is currently working as the Vice President of Business Development at Paradise Helicopters, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Business Development at the same company from August 2022 to October 2022. Alexandra also has experience as a General Manager at Tantrum Lures since June 2017.

In their earlier career, Alexandra worked at the Australian Museum as the AMRI & External Partnerships Coordinator. In this role, they focused on enhancing scientific outreach and communication and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Alexandra was employed at the museum from January 2016 to April 2022.

Before their time at the Australian Museum, Alexandra worked at PageGroup as a Global Opportunities Consultant from August 2015 to December 2015, and at Page Personnel as a Recruitment Consultant from August 2014 to August 2015. Alexandra was responsible for establishing strong relationships with colleagues and guiding candidates in the international job market.

Prior to their recruitment roles, Alexandra worked as a Cabin Manager at Virgin Australia from May 2012 to July 2014. Before that, they gained valuable experience as a Fisheries Technician at the NSW Department of Primary Industries from July 2008 to May 2012. In this position, they conducted research projects related to fish stock management and was involved in various tasks such as sampling, data analysis, and report writing.

Alexandra Durham began their education at Danebank Anglican School for Girls from 2000 to 2005, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Later, from 2006 to 2010, they attended the University of Technology Sydney, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography. In 2009, they also pursued an Honours Degree in Environmental Science at the same institution. Moving forward to 2014, Durham attended TAFE NSW and completed a Diploma of Tourism in Tourism and Travel Services Management, finishing their studies in 2017.
