Joshua Secrest's work experience begins with their current role as the Vice President of Marketing & Client Advocacy at Paradox, starting in February 2021.

Prior to their current position, Secrest held multiple roles at McDonald's from 2017 to 2021. From September 2019 to February 2021, they served as the Head of Global Talent Strategy. Before that, from September 2017 to September 2019, they were the Head of Global Talent Acquisition and was responsible for overseeing corporate and restaurant recruitment, recruitment strategy and operations, talent branding, and talent technology. Joshua also played a key role in the development of McDonald's restaurant hiring system called "Mchire."

Before joining McDonald's, Secrest worked at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. from 2004 to 2017. Joshua'sroles at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. included Head of Global Talent Acquisition, Associate Engagement & Philanthropy from March 2016 to September 2017; Director of Human Resources Business Partner from February 2012 to March 2016; Senior Manager of Human Resources Business Partner from May 2010 to February 2012; and various other positions, including Manager of Human Resources Business Partner, Head of Campus Recruitment Programs, Recruiter of Talent Acquisition, Assistant Merchant, and Associate Merchandiser.

Throughout their career, Secrest has gained extensive experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, campus recruitment, and HR business partnering, particularly in the retail industry.

Joshua Secrest attended Yale University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a B.A. degree in Economics.
