Lindsey Gilbert Stanifer

Technical Writer at Paradox

Lindsey Gilbert Stanifer has had a diverse work experience in various roles. In 2012, they started as a Resident Assistant at the University of Indianapolis and held this position until 2015. In 2015, they joined the University of Louisville as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they worked as a Writing Center Consultant and Part-Time Lecturer until 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Copy Editor and Writing Assistant at the University of Louisville Logistics and Distribution Institute from 2016 to 2017.

From 2017 to 2019, they worked at the Indianapolis Lighthouse Charter School as a High School English Teacher, teaching English 9 and Composition 10. In their final year, they became the Lead Advisor for the 10th Grade Advisory Team. Following this, they worked as an English Adjunct Professor at the University of Indianapolis from 2018 to 2019, teaching English 100 and English 101 courses.

In 2019, they joined Restaurant365 as a Junior Technical Writer and then transitioned to the role of Technical Writer in 2020. In this role, they crafted and updated documentation, collaborated with product managers, and maintained multiple support centers for the company's software solutions. Most recently, they started working at Paradox as a Technical Writer in 2022.

Lindsey Gilbert Stanifer obtained their Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a focus on English, Creative Writing, and Literary Studies from the University of Indianapolis in 2015. Lindsey Gilbert then pursued further education to earn a Master's of Arts degree in English from the University of Louisville, which they completed in 2017.
