Mike Wilde

Mike Wilde has a long and varied work experience. Mike began their career in 1978 as a Systems Programmer at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Mike then moved on to Lachman Technology/Legent/CA in 1990 as Manager of New Product Development. In 1996, they took on the role of CTO at CoolSavings, Inc. In 2001, they became a Software Architect at Argonne National Laboratory and in 2015 they became CEO and Co-Founder of Parallel Works. Mike also served as Senior Fellow, Computation Institute at The University of Chicago from 2004 to 2018.

Mike Wilde attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1975 to 1977, where they earned a BSci in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1973 to 1975, studying Information Engineering.
