James Thorson

James Thorson possesses extensive experience in portfolio management and fixed income analysis, currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Parametric since June 2013 after progressing through multiple roles including Associate Portfolio Manager, Senior Investment Analyst, and Investment Analyst. Prior to joining Parametric, James worked as a Fixed Income Research Intern at Sit Investment Associates from January 2011 to May 2013, where responsibilities included conducting research on closed-end funds. James also held the position of Fixed Income Analyst at Carlson Funds Enterprise, managing a $19 million fixed income investment fund and analyzing corporate bonds within various industries. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Finance and Accounting from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, earned between 2009 and 2013.
