Job description

As an Account Manager at Parcelly, you will take over the care of our client relationships once the relationship has been finalised. You will be introduced to the client during the final phase of the sales process so that they are aware of who will be looking after their account once the contract has been signed, and therefore you will form part of the sales process and must be presentable as a face for the company. Your interaction with the client thereafter will be on the basis of ensuring all aspects of the relationship, including compliance with the contract and efficiency in the service. 

Role  

  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contract renewals and agreements to maximize profit
  • Operating as the key point of contact for your clients and the conduit for communication between the client and internal teams
  • Supporting support clients as they transition from the onboarding process to active users, providing clients with relevant information and support clients in their use of the software platform, growing their transactions and footprint
  • Managing client expectations to enable the business to manage and prioritise multiple deliverables at any given time, with your strong account and project management skills.
  • Gathering feedback from clients and market trends and opportunities to help the business develop future products and services
  • Communicating the performance of your clients and new initiatives to your team, manager and the rest of the business. This will require you to be able to use reporting tools, create and manage spreadsheets and to create presentations.
  • Nurturing and expanding key relationships and be accountable for your portfolio and associated revenue numbers
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Proactively growing your portfolio, identifying and pursuing cross-sell & up-sell opportunities
  • Acting as a strategic partner to understand the objectives and needs of customers and then develop solutions through the company’s existing offerings
  • Developing an expert knowledge of the Parcelly platform
  • Maintaining detailed records in CRM and your sales pipeline and report upwards as appropriate
  • Assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Being available to support other growth functions and members of the team as and when required
  • Work cross-functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in our customers' success
  • Maintaining and growing relationships between Parcelly and our top UK B2B partners and network locations through strong communication both face-to-face and remotely
  • Driving account performance through data analysis and industry knowledge to measurable transaction volume and growth potential through Parcelly
  • Driving market growth through data analysis and problem-solving to maximize market share growth for Parcelly
  • Pricing, negotiating contracts and terms of partnerships
  • Liaising with our operations and finance colleagues and stakeholders to improve
  • Operations for your accounts

  • Innovating and presenting new ideas to increase Parcelly’s growth in your accounts and across our national and international markets
  • Working with your managers to develop and implement the growth strategy for your accounts
  • Being an expert for your accounts and their industries. This means knowing their products and industry landscapes inside and out, and being the face of Parcelly to their industries.
