Michelle Pernice

Michelle Pernice has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Michelle is currently the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Pardes Biosciences, where they began in July 2021. Prior to this, Michelle held leadership roles at Dynavax Technologies, starting as the Senior Director and Head of Regulatory Affairs from May 2019 to July 2020, and then transitioning to the Executive Director and Head of Regulatory Affairs from July 2020 to July 2021.

Before their time at Dynavax Technologies, Michelle worked at Amgen for five years. Their roles at Amgen included Director of Global Regulatory Lead from September 2017 to April 2019, Founder and Director of the Post-PharmD Fellowship Program from October 2014 to April 2019, Senior Manager EU Regulatory Lead from September 2015 to September 2017, and Manager US Regulatory Lead from May 2014 to August 2015.

Michelle began their career as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Drug Regulatory Affairs at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation from July 2012 to April 2014. Michelle also gained experience as a Pharmacy Technician at Huntington Hospital from January 2010 to May 2012, followed by a role as a Pharmacy Technician at St. Mary's Children's Hospital from December 2006 to August 2009.

Michelle Pernice obtained a PharmD degree from St. John's University College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. Michelle specialized in the field of Pharmacy during their time at this institution. In 2016, Michelle briefly attended the University of Oxford to study Social Entrepreneurship, though it is unclear whether they obtained a degree in this field.
