Praveen Mididoddi

Praveen Mididoddi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Praveen is currently the Director and Head of CMC Formulation at Pardes Biosciences, where they lead oral solid dosage development activities and collaborates with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). Prior to this, they worked at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) as an Associate Director, overseeing R&D formulation development, tech transfer, and scale-up activities. Praveen also held roles as a Senior Manager and Manager at the same company.

Before joining Otsuka, Praveen worked as an Independent Consultant at System2Thinking, where they partnered with pharmaceutical companies to assist them in reducing costs and increasing profits using methodologies such as Statistical Data Analysis, Continuous Process Improvement, and Lean Six Sigma.

Earlier in their career, Praveen held the position of Senior Scientist at Mylan, where they focused on process validation and addressing technical challenges related to oral solids and powders. Prior to that, they were a Senior Research Investigator at iCeutica, where they developed new pharmaceutical products using a reformulation platform. Praveen also gained experience as a Process Development Scientist III at Sandoz, developing high-quality affordable medicines.

Praveen's career started at MCPHS University, where they served as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics, teaching courses related to drug development processes and different dosage forms. Praveen also had research experience as a Research Scientist at Spherics Pharmaceuticals Inc. and interned at GlaxoSmithKline.

Praveen Mididoddi earned their Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Mississippi, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Kakatiya University's University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Praveen also attended Takshasila Public School in Hyderabad. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from MoreSteam.com LLC in January 2015.
