Uma Sekar is a co-founder of Minerva Lifestyle, dedicated to supporting parents with household research and tasks. As a founder member of Parenthood Ventures, Uma contributes to an ecosystem for ParentTech startups that cater to the evolving needs of parents, having helped raise over $65 million in funding. With a wealth of experience as an angel investor and advisor across various organizations, including StandardDAO and Graham & Walker, Uma has played significant roles as a founder and CEO of Parenting Partners and previously invested in successful companies like OwnTrail and LegUp. In earlier positions at Capria, Uma served as Investment Director and co-founded an advisory service to enhance early-stage investor capabilities, demonstrating a strong commitment to impactful investment. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Madras School of Economics and academic pursuits in Development Economics at Georgetown University.
