David Brown

David Brown has a strong background in epidemiology and real-world science. David started their career in 1998 as an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. From there, they moved to Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, where they served as an Associate Director and later as a Director of Epidemiology. In 2005, they joined PPD as a Senior Director, focusing on epidemiology and pharmacovigilance. David then became an Executive Director of Epidemiology at PPD before transitioning to Pfizer in 2010 as a Senior Director of Epidemiology. Currently, they serve as the Vice President and Global Head of Epidemiology & Real-World Science at Parexel.

David Brown holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. David also obtained an MPH in Epidemiology from Loma Linda University. Additionally, they hold a MA in Biology with a focus on Cell & Molecular Biology from the University of California, Riverside. David began their education journey by completing a BA in Biology from Point Loma Nazarene University.
