Eric Malcolmson

Eric Malcolmson has extensive experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. Eric is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Development at Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities. Prior to this, they served as an Independent Board Director at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.

From 2013 to 2019, Eric worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Icon Legacy Hospitality, where they oversaw the company's operations of third-party owned hotel and restaurant assets, as well as real estate investments.

Before that, they were the Director of Asset Management and Development Advisory at HLT Advisory Inc. from 2010 to 2013. Eric developed the hotel advisory practice and led various hotel development projects.

Eric also served as the Vice President of Development at Fairmont Raffles Hotels International from 2002 to 2008, where they were responsible for growing the Raffles, Fairmont, and Swissôtel brands in the USA and Canada.

Prior to that, they worked at PwC from 1997 to 2002, specializing in lodging industry divestments, portfolio acquisitions, and financing. Eric also provided advisory services for a range of hotel-related engagements.

Early in their career, Eric served as a Sales Associate at Colliers International Hotels, where they marketed and sold hotels and resorts nationally. Eric was responsible for due diligence, financial analysis, and property valuation.

Eric Malcolmson earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Ryerson University in 1993. In 2012, they obtained a certification from the International Society of Hospitality Consultants, an association of hospitality consulting professionals from around the world.
