Silke Sorenson

Silke Sorenson is a versatile professional with extensive experience in journalism, performing arts, and education. Currently a journalist at CBR since June 2024, Silke also has a longstanding freelance career as an actress, voice-over talent, dubbing director, and personal trainer since 2013. Additional roles include an enrichment teacher at Parker-Anderson Enrichment, Inc., and a translator/subtitle editor at SDI Media / Iyuno from April 2008 to December 2023, where duties involved translating various forms of media and documents between English and German. Previous positions include fitness instructor at La County Parks & Recreation and election reporter for Decision Desk HQ. Silke has also worked as an enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau and held a dubbing director and voice-over talent role at ZOO Digital Group plc. Educational background includes studies at Santa Monica College and the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute.
