Project Manager / Scrum Master

As a Project Manager / Scrum Master, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, as well as facilitating the Scrum framework within cross-functional teams. You will have to collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and other project managers to ensure the project's progress aligns with the objectives and that the team follows Agile/Scrum practices and principles.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage projects from initiation to completion, overseeing the delivery of the project's objectives

• Facilitate daily scrums, sprint planning, and backlog refinement meetings, as well as sprint reviews and retrospectives

• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur during the project

• Help the team achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity

• Liaise with the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog

• Communicate project progress, issues, and risks effectively to stakeholders

• Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions, and lead the team to focus on the agreed-upon sprint goals

• Collaborate with other project managers to manage cross-project dependencies

• Enforce a culture of continuous improvement in the team’s process and practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager and a Scrum Master for a software development team

• Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices

• Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Kanban, XP etc.)

• Familiarity with software development processes and lifecycle

• Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project)

• Ability to deal with complexity and change

• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a must

• PMP certification is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
