As a Project Manager / Scrum Master, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, as well as facilitating the Scrum framework within cross-functional teams. You will have to collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and other project managers to ensure the project's progress aligns with the objectives and that the team follows Agile/Scrum practices and principles.
Responsibilities:
Plan and manage projects from initiation to completion, overseeing the delivery of the project's objectives
Facilitate daily scrums, sprint planning, and backlog refinement meetings, as well as sprint reviews and retrospectives
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur during the project
Help the team achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity
Liaise with the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
Communicate project progress, issues, and risks effectively to stakeholders
Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions, and lead the team to focus on the agreed-upon sprint goals
Collaborate with other project managers to manage cross-project dependencies
Enforce a culture of continuous improvement in the team’s process and practices
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager and a Scrum Master for a software development team
Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices
Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Kanban, XP etc.)
Familiarity with software development processes and lifecycle
Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project)
Ability to deal with complexity and change
Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a must
PMP certification is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
