M. Şakir Çimen

M. Şakir Çimen has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. M. Şakir started their career as a Summer Intern at Basari Mobile in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Software Developer, where they influenced their peers to develop an informal graduation project and published an app on Google Play Store. M. Şakir also developed manual security algorithms during this time. Later in 2017, they interned at MBIS for a short period.

In 2017, Çimen joined Locksmith Software Technologies as a Software Engineer. In this role, they created an ontology using text mining techniques and managed other junior developers and interns. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at ePlatform as a Backend Developer, contributing to a tax calculation system. M. Şakir designed, developed, and maintained the backend of the Fixtures module and occasionally led other developers.

From 2019 to 2021, Çimen worked as a Software Engineer at HAVELSAN. M. Şakir was heavily involved in developing Astar-BI, a business intelligence tool, and made it marketable within a year. In 2020, they worked on personal side projects, developing both the backend and frontend by himself and learning frontend development and React framework simultaneously.

In 2021, they joined Bayzat as a Software Engineer, primarily working on user-oriented modules of an HR & Insurance platform. During their time there, they developed online pharmacy, doctor booking, and employee wellness modules. M. Şakir also ideated and launched the Employee Wellness module, which generated additional revenue for the company.

Currently, Çimen is working at ParkHere GmbH as a Backend Engineer, starting in 2022.

From 2013 to 2017, M. Şakir Çimen attended Hacettepe University and pursued a degree in Computer Engineering. M. Şakir completed their studies during this period.
