Katherine Fletcher

Katherine Fletcher is a skilled professional with extensive experience in research communications, currently serving as the Research Communications Lead at Parkinson's UK since October 2018. In this role, Katherine collaborates with various teams to create high-quality research communications for key stakeholders and lay audiences. Prior to this, Katherine completed a PhD at The Babraham Institute, focusing on cellular signaling pathways and their relevance to homeostasis, immunology, and ageing. As a Research Scientist, Katherine conducted a comprehensive genome-wide siRNA screen to identify autophagy regulators, contributing to understanding cancer and neurodegeneration. Katherine also has experience in catering as a Supervisor for Levy Restaurants. Educational qualifications include a People Leadership Programme from Multiverse and a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol.
