Zachery Connolly has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Zachery started their career at Premium Brands Holdings Corporation in 2012 as a Refrigeration/Boiler Operator and Maintenance worker. In 2013, they joined Husky Energy as a CSU Operator/Control Room Operator. Zachery then moved on to Chevron in 2014, where they worked as a Process Operator and later as an Operations Project Coordinator. During their time at Chevron, they focused on supporting key decisions in each project phase and conducted lessons learned to improve safety and efficiency. In 2017, Zachery joined Parkland Corporation as a Control Room Operator/Process Operator and later took on the role of Operations Project Coordinator. At Parkland Corporation, they led planning for capital projects and ensured compliance with operations deliverables. Zachery was also a member of the turnaround Core Team and provided factual data to support scope decision making. Zachery's work experience highlights their expertise in operations, project coordination, and commissioning activities.
Zachery Connolly completed their Bachelor's degree in Construction Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Power Engineering Diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Zachery has also earned several certifications including a 2nd Class Power Engineer certification from Technical Safety BC in May 2016. Zachery has also completed training in TEEX- Industrial Fire Brigade and TEEX-NFPA 1081 Exterior at Texas A&M University in 2017 and 2016 respectively. Furthermore, they possess certifications in Confined Space Entry/Monitor Level 1, Confined Space Entry/Rescue Level 2, Elevated Work Platform, Fall Protection, H2S Alive, NFPA 1081, OHS Standard First Aid, AED & CPR Level A, Portable Gas Detection Instruments (incl. Nitrogen Gas), TDG, and WHIMIS.
