Lenci Kadavil

Lenci primarily practices within the full spectrum of civil litigation. He also has experience in corporate/commercial, wills & estates, class actions, criminal and family law related matters. Lenci has been successful in several cases which include, but are not limited to: applications, bail hearings, pre-trial conferences, administrative tribunal hearings, and trials. He has also successfully appeared before the Court of Appeal and has experience with trials at both the Provincial Court and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench.

During Lenci’s time at Parlee McLaws, he has gained considerable expertise as coverage counsel for his insurance clientele. More specifically, Lenci has provided coverage opinions in the areas of automobile liability, bodily injury, casualty coverage, and general liability. His experience includes, but is not limited to, a wide variety of commercial disputes ranging from property development, contract interpretation, and construction disputes. Lenci has also litigated matters of wrongful dismissal and employee dishonesty matters. He has successfully litigated multiple subrogated claims.

Lenci completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering at the University of Calgary, minoring in Management. He also did some academic work in philosophy and psychology before deciding to pursue his passion for the law. Lenci then graduated from Toronto’s Osgoode Hall Law School. During his studies, he was the treasurer of the York Debating Society and also belonged to the Osgoode Debating Society.
