Jaimie Strickland

Jaimie Strickland has a diverse work experience in the field of veterinary medicine. Jaimie is currently working as the Clinical Technology Director at Parnell Veterinary Pharmaceuticals since January 2022. Prior to this, they pursued their PhD at Michigan State University from July 2018 to April 2022 and also worked as a Resident in Nutrition and Toxicology from January 2016 to December 2018.

Jaimie gained hands-on experience as a Veterinarian at Tule River Veterinary Services from March 2014 to December 2015 and at Bovine Veterinary Services from June 2013 to March 2014.

Jaimie also contributed to the field of animal science at the MSU Veterinary Research Farm, where they served as an Animal Care Taker from August 2009 to August 2012.

Jaimie's journey in veterinary medicine began at the MSU Department of Animal Science in June 2007, where they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Richard Pursley. Jaimie designed, facilitated, and performed research projects on dairy cattle fertility until November 2010.

In addition to their experience in veterinary medicine, they worked as a Pet Nurse at Banfield Pet Hospital in June 2010 and completed an internship as a Swine Intern at Dykhuis Farms, Inc. in June-August 2008. During this internship, they conducted research on the correlation between post-breeding feed intake and early embryonic death using ultrasound technology.

Jaimie Strickland has a strong education background in the field of veterinary medicine. They then went on to complete their Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the same institution from 2009 to 2013. Continuing their education, Jaimie Strickland earned a Master's degree in Comparative Medicine and Integrative Biology from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, which they completed from 2016 to 2018.
