Alexa Suyama has three years of experience in research and teaching. In 2022, they began working as a Research Associate at Parse Biosciences. In 2020, they started working as a Research Assistant at Oregon Health & Science University, where they developed new genetic tags for cellular proteins. Also in 2020, they began working as a Teaching Assistant at Western Washington University, where they trained students in the use of sterile technique, micropipettes, microscopy, and Kohler illumination.
