David Hamm

David Hamm has a diverse work experience that spans over 20 years in the fields of biotechnology, biosciences, and research. Currently, they serve as the Director of Scientific Collaborations at Parse Biosciences since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. for a significant duration. As a Senior Manager Technical Services, they managed a team providing customer technical support, data analysis, and pre-sales presentations from October 2019 to January 2023. Before that, as a Manager Technical Services (February 2015 to October 2019), they built and managed a technical scientist team supporting sales and customer needs. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Application Scientist (March 2012 to February 2017), where they assisted customers in analyzing and interpreting large datasets.

Earlier in their career, David was a Research Scientist at NOAA from an unknown start date until February 2012, where they developed standards, metrics, and analytical tools related to salmon habitat. David also worked as an Instructor at Ocean Inquiry Project from an unknown start date until 2009, teaching various classes in oceanography and marine biology, and designing curriculum. Furthermore, their experience includes working as a Lab Manager/Research Scientist at the University of Washington, Genome Sciences, at an unknown start date until 2006.

David Hamm earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with Honors in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1990 to 1993. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Invertebrate Ecology, Population Genetics, and Oceanography from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography from 1997 to 1999.
