Staff Field Application Scientist at Parse Biosciences

Anna Malinkevich's work experience is as follows:

Anna started their career at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the laboratory of Dr. Om Parkash. Anna'sresponsibilities included cloning and characterizing Crambe abyssinica genes.

Anna then continued their education at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where they worked as a Research Technician in the laboratory of Dr. Elliot Androphy. Anna'srole involved characterizing potential Human Papilloma Virus 16 (HPV-16) E6 inhibitor compounds.

Following their work as a Research Technician, Anna became a Graduate Researcher at the same institution. Anna optimized recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV) delivery of miRNA gene therapies and aided in resolving molecular mechanisms of the NF-kB antibacterial response pathway.

In 2007, Anna joined the laboratory of Dr. Kirsten Hagstrom at the University of Massachusetts Medical School as a Doctoral Researcher. Anna studied the role of condensin complexes in silencing transcription during endogenous and exogenous RNA interference.

Anna then worked as a Doctoral Researcher in the laboratory of Dr. William Theurkauf at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Anna'sresearch focused on studying the binding mechanism and interactors of the piRNA pathway protein Cutoff (Cuff).

After completing their doctoral research, Anna joined Abcam as a Scientific Support Specialist. Anna communicated with academic, industry, and government clients to research, plan, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot antibody-based research applications.

Following their role at Abcam, Anna worked as a Technical Sales Specialist, providing pre- and post-sales technical support for Priority Accounts. Anna actively managed customer expectations and resolved high-value technical complaints.

Anna then transitioned to InVivo Biosystems (Formerly NemaMetrix) as a Technical Solutions and Applications Scientist. Anna spearheaded the biological validation of novel instruments, developed and optimized new applications, and provided technical support for protocols and troubleshooting.

In their most recent role, Anna worked at Parse Biosciences. Anna started as a Senior Field Application Scientist, where they built and trained the Commercial Technical Team and developed training materials and protocols. Anna then transitioned to the role of Staff Field Application Scientist, serving as a technical resource and managing strategic communication and partnerships.

Throughout their career, Anna has demonstrated expertise in technical support, application development, and customer relationship management.

Anna Malinkevich completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, from 2003 to 2007. Anna then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from UMass Chan Medical School, from 2008 to 2014.
