Ashley Hughes, MPH, RD

Ashley Hughes, MPH, RD has been working in the public health and nutrition field since 2017. Ashley began their career as a Program Assistant at Opportunity International, where they worked until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Customer Support Associate at Teamworks, and during the same period, they were a Discussion Leader for Introduction to Human Nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2020, they were a Policy Analyst at the North Carolina Alliance for Health. In 2021, they worked as a Public Health Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a Dietetic Intern at UNC Health, a Short Term Nutrition Consultant at The World Bank, and an Assistant Research Analyst at the Carolina Population Center. Currently, Ashley is a Customer Success Associate at Parsyl.

Ashley Hughes, MPH, RD, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in Spanish from The University of Tulsa in 2017. Ashley then studied abroad at Universidad de Alcalá in 2017. In 2019, they earned their Master's degree in Public Health and Nutrition from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. In 2020, they obtained a ServSafe Manager certification from the National Restaurant Association and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
