Rena joins the tumor immunology team at Parthenon after receiving her PhD from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, where she studied T cell exclusion in pancreatic cancer in Douglas Fearon's group. Her research focused on dissecting the dynamic crosstalk among cancer immunogenicity, T cell immunity, and cancer-associated fibroblast heterogeneity. She has been passionate about immunology since examining the role of Notch signaling in T cell development and malignancy in University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Prior to that, Rena received a MS degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio investigating isoform-specific trafficking of the coxsackie and adenovirus receptor. She received her BS in Life science from Ocean University of China.
