Bill Clark has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Bill began their career in the US Navy, where they worked as a Reactor Operator and gained experience in operating and maintaining nuclear instruments. After leaving the Navy, they joined Immunex as a Maintenance and R&D Manager, overseeing engineering and maintenance operations. Bill also worked as a Validation/Maintenance Supervisor, coordinating and performing qualifications for a GMP manufacturing facility. At Amgen, they held roles such as Manager of Maintenance and Work Order Administration and Maintenance & Utility Specialist Business Analyst, where they focused on process improvement and analyzing maintenance data.
Bill then moved to Acucela Inc., where they successfully managed the design, construction, and relocation of the company's corporate headquarters. At Snohomish County Public Works, they served as the Maintenance Management System Lead. Bill later joined Dendreon as a Sr. Manager of Facilities & Engineering, responsible for various operations including mechanical systems, utilities, calibration programs, and space planning. Bill also served as Manager of Metrology and Calibration, overseeing Seattle facilities and maintenance management systems.
Continuing their career in the biopharmaceutical industry, Bill joined CTI BioPharma as an Associate Director, responsible for facilities, operations, and safety. Currently, they are working at Partner Therapeutics as a Senior Manager of Engineering Services, providing daily administration of the site's asset management system and spare parts program.
Throughout their career, Bill has demonstrated expertise in engineering services, maintenance management systems, facility operations, and validation.
Bill Clark has a diverse education history. Bill attended the Naval Nuclear Power School from 1986 to 1987, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Reactor Operation. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1986, they were enrolled in the US Navy, completing the Electronic Technician A School program. Earlier on, from 1982 to 1984, Bill studied at San Diego State University, majoring in General Studies. During that same period, they also attended San Diego Miramar College to pursue General Education. Additionally, in May 2022, Bill obtained a certification as a Certified Lean Six Sigma YellowBelt from the Star 6 Sigma Global Academy.
