Vivian Yuan

Vivian Yuan has an extensive work experience starting from 1997 to present. Vivian began their career at the University of Washington as a Clinical Technologist in the Retrovirus Laboratory, where they maintained laboratory accreditation and collaborated with medical professionals and research coordinators. Vivian then worked at Xcyte Therapies, Inc as a Manufacturing Associate III and later as a Cell Manufacturing Manager, overseeing the transfer of development processes, clinical trials, and equipping a new cell therapy facility. At Bayer HealthCare, Vivian served as a Production Associate III and later as a Purification Supervisor, playing a key role in facility start-up and establishing productive relationships with contractors and manufacturers. Vivian then joined Sanofi Genzyme as a Bioprocessing Technical Specialist/Project Engineer and later as a Process Engineer and Project Manager. In these roles, they managed multi-disciplinary projects, facilitated successful FDA inspections and approvals, and rebuilt trust with customers to turn projects around. Currently, Vivian is working at Partner Therapeutics as a Sr. Project Manager/Project Manager, driving complex strategic projects and leading teams. Their work experience highlights their expertise in project management, team leadership, relationship management, and technical proficiency in various therapeutic and manufacturing processes.

Vivian Yuan has a B.S degree in Medical Technology from the University of Washington, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998. Before that, they attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 1993 to 1995, although the degree name and field of study are not specified. In terms of certifications, Vivian obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in July 2016. Vivian also has a Project Management Certificate from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), which they obtained in December 2015. Additionally, they completed the Project Management Certificate Program at the University of Washington in September 2009. More recently, Vivian has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as strategic thinking, project leadership, Microsoft Teams automation, Excel macros, electrical systems, and essential people skills for project management.
