Sergio Correa Asmar has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. Sergio has recently worked at Partners of the Americas as the Director of Partnerships and Investments since February 2022 and previously as the Director of the Farmer to Farmer Program since January 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director Colombia at Grameen Foundation from March 2019 to January 2020. Sergio also gained experience at REDF as a Farber Intern - Public Policy in 2016. Sergio's earlier roles include working at Grameen Foundation as the Programs and Monitoring Manager from April 2014 to July 2015, as a Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist from April 2013 to May 2014, and as a Progress out of Poverty Index® Product Specialist from January 2011 to March 2013. Before that, they worked at CORPORACIÓN PROMOTORA DE LA EXCELENCIA PERSONAL (PEP) as a Life Coach in 2010. Sergio's prior experience also includes positions at ALFACER DEL CARIBE S.A. as a Chief Financial Analyst in 2009, at Alfagres as a Purchasing Manager from February 2007 to May 2009, at EQUITY INVESTMENT S.A. as a Financial Analyst from June 2006 to February 2007, and at Latinvestco S.A. as a Junior Financial Analyst (Intern) in 2005. Throughout their career, Sergio has had experience in various areas such as partnerships, investments, program management, monitoring and evaluation, public policy, coaching, and financial analysis.

Sergio Correa Asmar has a strong education history, with notable achievements in various fields of study. Sergio pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with Honors at CESA from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they attended Universidad EAFIT from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained a Master's Degree with a Graduate Diploma in Finance. Continuing their academic journey, Sergio enrolled in the Harvard Kennedy School from 2015 to 2017, earning another Master's Degree in Development Economics and International Development. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school at Asociación Colegio Granadino from 1996 to 2001.
