Alice Gualpa Thompson

Alice Gualpa Thompson has a diverse background in data analysis and research in the field of education. Alice started their career as an Analyst and Research Assistant at the Los Angeles Unified School District, where they supervised data collection and analysis for a student safety project. Alice then worked as a Consultant at Research Support Services, creating data systems and conducting analysis for statewide elementary and middle school evaluations. Thompson then joined the Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, & Student Testing (CRESST) as a Research Analyst, coordinating data collection and conducting analyses for the California Department of Education Statewide After School Program Evaluation. Alice later became a Senior Analyst at the California Charter Schools Association, managing data collection and analysis for a research project on charter school autonomy. Most recently, Thompson held the position of Senior Director of Data and Impact at the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools, where they provided data support to schools, set performance metrics, and helped develop strategic plans.
