Diana Starkes leads the business development efforts for the Partnership’s open-enrollment leadership development programs and custom professional development programs with federal agencies. She was introduced to the nonprofit world while working for the local Washington, D.C., NPR radio station. She is a member of the first African-American sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Incorporated, and she serves as a weekly volunteer at her community church. Diana’s favorite public servant is Patricia Roberts Harris, the first African-American woman to hold a cabinet post at the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
