David D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. David currently works as a Software & Visualization Engineer at PassiveLogic since May 2023. Prior to this, David worked as a Senior Analyst at Overbay Capital Partners from February 2023 to May 2023 and as an Analyst from November 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Overbay Capital Partners, David founded Over the Hurdle Investments Inc. in January 2017 and served as the Founder until November 2021. Over the Hurdle Investments Inc. specializes in alternative financial solutions and utilizes technology to improve visibility into risk and return profiles while decreasing transaction costs of investment funds.

David also gained experience at Bell as a Big Data & AI Specialist in Network Big Data & AI from September 2018 to April 2019. David worked as an Analyst at Life Insurance Liquidity Options LP. in May-August 2018 and May-August 2017.

Additionally, David has entrepreneurial experience as the Founder of Renstel from August 2015 to November 2015. David began their career as an Assistant Research Manager at TSOC from July 2014 to August 2014.

David D. started their education in 2012 at St.Francis Xavier Secondary School, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate (I.B.) Diploma in Economics and Physics. David completed this program in 2016.

After that, David attended Western University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

Following their undergraduate studies, David enrolled in the Smith School of Business at Queen's University in 2020 and pursued a Master's degree in Finance. David finished this program in 2021.

In terms of additional certifications, David obtained the Level II CFA Candidate designation from the CFA Institute in June 2019. In June 2017, they completed the course "Serverless Machine Learning with Tensorflow on Google Cloud Platform" on Coursera. David also holds certifications from Google, including the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect obtained in January 2023 and the Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer obtained in December 2022. Additionally, they completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) from Moody's Analytics, although the exact month and year of completion are unknown.
