Roneisha Ward, RHIA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Roneisha began their career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at CarolinaEast Health System in 2007 and later joined the US Army as a Human Resources Specialist, where they managed personnel, medical, and dental records. After that, they worked at CenturyLink as a Consumer Solution Specialist, handling customer calls and troubleshooting services.

In 2009, Roneisha moved on to Strafford as a Data Analyst, responsible for verifying and correcting data in an Access database. Roneisha then joined CarolinaEast Health System again as a Patient Registration Counselor, where they ensured accurate patient information and verified insurance coverage.

Roneisha worked at Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. from 2013 to 2019 in various roles. As a Health Information Technology Specialist, they trained staff on the electronic health record system and managed upgrades. Roneisha later became the Compliance & Quality Manager, coordinating training and troubleshooting EMR issues. In 2015, they further pursued their education by completing a Master of Information Systems Management degree with a focus on Health Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.

In addition to their academic achievements, Roneisha has obtained two important certifications. Roneisha attained the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential from AHIMA in December 2018. Furthermore, they completed a certification in Ethical Leadership from The College of St. Scholastica in April 2019.
