Sean Casey

Sean Casey has over 20 years of experience in information security and network engineering roles. Sean is currently working at Patelco Credit Union as a Senior Principal Information Security Analyst, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Information Security Analyst at Patelco Credit Union from December 2019 to February 2022. In 2019, Sean worked at LendUp as a Security Program Owner for a brief period of four months.

Before joining Patelco Credit Union and LendUp, Sean gained valuable experience at various companies. Sean served as the Director of Client Services at NNI from October 2014 to May 2018, where they led several significant initiatives such as expanding the Technical Support Team, creating the Technical Publications team, establishing the Quality Assurance team, and building relationships with different departments within the company.

Sean also held positions at Ariba as a Senior Information Security Engineer in 2014, Symantec as a Senior Principal Information Security Engineer in 2011, Zurich - Farmers US as a Senior Information Security Engineer from 2008 to 2011, Hitachi Data Systems as a Network Engineer from 2002 to 2007, and ATR contracted to Align Technologies as a Senior Network Engineer in 2002. Sean started their career as a Professional Services Engineer at Eonite in 2001.

Throughout their career, Sean has demonstrated expertise in information security, network engineering, and systems management. Sean has contributed to various projects aimed at improving security infrastructure, enhancing operational support, and implementing effective risk evaluation processes. Sean's work experience highlights their ability to lead teams, drive organizational growth, and deliver successful outcomes.

Sean Casey attended De Anza College from 1989 to 1993, where they studied Computer Science. In 2012, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)2.
