Jennifer Sloboda

Jennifer Sloboda has extensive work experience in the field of data science and software engineering. Jennifer is currently employed at Pathos as a Data Scientist / Software Engineer, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Known Medicine in the same role from February 2022 to April 2023.

Jennifer also has a strong background in research and development. Jennifer worked at MIT Lincoln Laboratory for several years, starting in December 2017. In their role as an Associate Staff in the Homeland Sensors and Analytics Group, they contributed to various projects such as sensor network analysis for land surveillance, front-end web development, and UI design for COVID-19 situational awareness and humanitarian aid supply chain logistics. Jennifer also applied uncertainty-aware deep learning techniques to medical decision support and developed deep learning models for human motion prediction from wearable sensor data.

Before joining MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Jennifer worked as an Assistant Staff in Group 45: Informatics and Decision Support at the same organization. In this role, they designed and developed a Python package for scalable processing of flight data, conducted research on vocal biomarkers predictive of cognitive load and fatigue, and tested prototype vehicle classification techniques using MATLAB.
