Angela Smith

Angela Smith has a diverse work experience in the fields of multimedia production and coordination. Angela began their career at Albemarle Films as a Production Coordinator for the film "Swedish Auto," where they were responsible for managing office staff and scheduling interns and extras. Angela then joined SHRM as an Associate Multimedia Producer, where they researched stories, filmed, edited, and produced multimedia projects for the editorial department. Angela also co-produced SHRM's news program "Focus on HR." Angela later became a Publications Staff Associate at SHRM, assisting the online multimedia producer and senior executives. Most recently, they worked at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) as a Digital Media & Video Specialist and Multimedia Manager. In these roles, Angela was responsible for all aspects of video production, from scriptwriting and filming to editing and finalizing video content. Angela produced a significant number of video projects and virtual events to support the organization's goals and mission.

Angela Smith attended Alliance University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Angela continued their education at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh (Online) from 2006 to 2009, earning an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Design.
