Gwen Cooper

Gwen Cooper's work experience begins in 1999 as the Executive Director of the Gulfcoast Region for the Arthritis Foundation. Gwen then moved on to become the President and CEO of Community Health Charities of Florida from 2000 to 2012, where they successfully transformed the organization into a well-known and respected nonprofit. From 2011 to 2013, Gwen served as the Executive Director of Women 4 Women - Kentucky, focusing on improving the economic self-sufficiency of women and their families. Gwen then joined Seven Counties Services as the Vice President of External Affairs, where they created a comprehensive External Affairs Department. Gwen's next role was as the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing & External Affairs Officer at Hosparus Health from 2016 to 2020. During this time, they led and managed various aspects of business development. In 2021, Gwen became a member of the Forbes Nonprofit Council and the Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation (WBL). Gwen also joined Accessia Health as President and CEO in 2020, leading the charge to find solutions for the challenges faced by the chronically ill. In 2022, they became a member of the Patient Engagement Advisory Panel at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).

Gwen Cooper has a Master's degree in Public Affairs & Nonprofit Management from Indiana University Bloomington. Gwen also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Speech Communications from the University of South Florida. In addition, they have obtained certification as a Certified Fund Raising Executive from CFRE International.
