David E. Maurizi

David E. Maurizi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. David E. recently joined PatientPoint as a Senior Technical Project Manager & Scrum Master in the software engineering department. Prior to that, they worked at Vocera Communications for three years as the Director of the Product Engineering Program Management Office. Before joining Vocera, they were the Director of Operations Deployment Project Management at Parkview Health. From 2004 to 2018, David was also an Investment Property Owner. In 2016, they worked at Vocera Communications as a Manager, Product Engineering Project Management, Technical Program Manager, and Scrum Master. Prior to that, they held positions at Extension Healthcare as a Supervisor of Software Engineering Project Management, Technical Program Manager, and Scrum Master, as well as a Senior Project Manager for Professional Services. David E. also worked at Lutheran Health Network as an IS Manager and Project Manager, and at triPRACTIX as a Project Manager for Professional Services. David started their career as the Innovation Coordinator at the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center. Overall, they have developed a strong background in project management, software engineering, and program management.

David E. Maurizi completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Taylor University from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Management from the same institution, graduating between the years 2001 and 2005.

In addition to their academic achievements, David has also obtained several certifications. David E. became a Certified SAFe 5 Agilist (SA) through Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2022. In March 2021, they achieved the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute. David earned the Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2019. David E. became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance in November 2016. Lastly, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2012.
