Krysta Scalzo

Lead Community Manager at PatientsLikeMe

Krysta Scalzo has worked in various roles since 2004. Krysta began their career at ShopRite, where they held the role of Manager from October 2015 to March 2017. In this role, they acted as a Shopper Advocate, responsible for hiring, training, and organizing in-store fundraising and out-of-store community events. Krysta also kept personnel files and accident reports, as well as organized associate appreciation events quarterly.

In 2017, Krysta joined ClassPass as a Senior Customer Experience Associate. In this role, they assisted members via chat and email, crafted language for the team to use when emailing users and various resources externally and internally in the Help Center, and worked with the product team identifying bugs and system limitations based on user feedback. Krysta also acted as the first responder in site/app outages.

Krysta has been with PatientsLikeMe, LLC. since 2019, where they have held the roles of Lead Community Manager and Community Manager.

Krysta Scalzo attended SUNY New Paltz from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Visual Art.
