Antti Salmela

Antti Salmela is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the defense and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Contracting Director and HX Business Lead at Patria since October 2012, Antti Salmela specializes in engine-related industrial participation projects within the Finnish HX Fighter Program, focusing on developing viable engine sustainment concepts collaboratively with customers and OEMs. Prior to Patria, Antti Salmela worked at Airpro Oy in various managerial roles, including Business Area Manager and Sales Manager, from March 2003 to October 2012. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration in International Selling and Sales Management from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, attained between 2018 and 2021, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2006. Additionally, Antti Salmela has pursued studies at Université de Bordeaux.
