Sophia Tsai

Sophia Tsai serves as the Investment Committee Chair at The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation since February 2023 and as Managing Director of Investments at Trinity Church Wall Street since October 2017, overseeing a $7 billion portfolio aimed at supporting strategic initiatives such as racial justice and housing. Additionally, Sophia co-founded the Institutional Allocators for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and has been a member of the PEWIN - Private Equity Women Investor Network since 2011. Previous roles include Managing Director and Co-Head of Hedge Funds at State Street, Co-Chief Investment Officer at GE Asset Management, and various positions within GE Capital and GE Equity Asia Pacific. Sophia holds an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and HKUST Business School, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
