Melissa Kier

Melissa Kier has extensive work experience in the accounting field. Melissa most recently served as the Director of Accounting at Patriot Rail starting in September 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Genesee & Wyoming Inc. as a Senior Accounting Manager from March 2021 to September 2023. Before that, they held various roles at Florida East Coast Railway, including Controller from May 2018 to March 2021, Accounting Manager from July 2008 to May 2018, and Staff Accountant I, II, and III from August 2002 to July 2008.

Melissa Kier completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at the University of North Florida from 1993 to 1997. Melissa then pursued a Master of Accountancy degree at the same institution from 1997 to 1999. In December 2000, Melissa obtained their certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Florida.
