Thomas Dutka

Thomas Dutka, CFA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Thomas is currently serving as the Director of Investment Solutions at PATRIZIA SE since January 2017. In this role, they are responsible for leading fixed interest and credit investment consulting, formulating portfolio construction strategies, conducting research and strategy presentations to clients, and performing global investment manager research and due diligence. Thomas also previously served as the lead consultant for ESG investment strategies at PATRIZIA SE.

Prior to joining PATRIZIA SE, Thomas worked at Commonwealth Bank as a Senior Product Manager for Fixed Investments from July 2016 to January 2017. In this role, they led pricing, acquisition, and retention strategies for the $85 billion term deposit book of the bank. Thomas had primary product responsibility for CBA's term deposit discretionary pricing architecture.

Thomas has also gained valuable experience at Macquarie Group, where they worked from 2009 to 2016. Thomas held various roles within the Australian Origination team of Macquarie Specialised Investment Solutions. Thomas'sresponsibilities included managing and developing structured financial products, leading a restricted offer leveraged notes product, and managing a retail protected equity product with funds under management exceeding $200 million.

Prior to their time at Macquarie Group, Thomas worked as a Lawyer at Henry Davis York from December 2006 to October 2009. Thomas also gained teaching experience at UNSW Business School as an Academic Tutor for Quantitative Methods in 2004.

Thomas Dutka, CFA completed their Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Laws from UNSW from 2003 to 2007. In 2006, they obtained a Diploma of Polish Language and Culture from Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II. Earlier, from 1997 to 2002, Thomas attended Hurlstone Agricultural High School and received their HSC degree. Additionally, they hold the CFA Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
