David Layne

David Layne has a diverse background in security and law enforcement, currently serving as a Lieutenant at Patronus Systems Inc. since July 2020, overseeing the Western West Virginia Area. Prior experience includes roles as a Humane Officer at Huntington Cabell-Wayne Animal Control Shelter and an Integration Specialist at Galls, LLC. Additional positions held include Court Officer with the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office, Asset Protection Manager at Sears, Roebuck and Co., and Correctional Officer with West Virginia Regional Jails. David’s long career began at Lowe's Companies, Inc., where various roles were undertaken over an 18-year period. David received education at Huntington High School from 1981 to 1984.
