Bob Newport

Bob Newport is an executive with extensive experience in domestic and international business environments, currently serving as the Director of Business at Patterson-UTI since July 2017. Prior to this, Bob held the role of General Manager - Director of Business at Seventy Seven Energy, where leadership was demonstrated during significant acquisitions and consolidations. Bob also contributed to the financial success of Keith Smith Company, Inc. as Controller, resulting in substantial growth in net income. Earlier career roles include Controller at U.S. Silica Company and various managerial positions at Parker Drilling Company across multiple international locations. Bob holds an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BS in Agriculture Economics from Oklahoma State University, as well as completing the Energy Executive Management Program at the University of Oklahoma.
