Michael Contreras

Michael Contreras has extensive work experience in the retail industry. Michael started their career at Sunglass Hut as a Store Manager from 1996 to 1998. Michael then worked at LIZ CLAIBORNE as an Account Specialist from 1998 to 2000, and later as a Senior Merchandiser for International Jewelry from 2000 to 2004. Michael joined The Hyman Group/Landau in 2004 as a Buyer for Handbags, Small Goods, and Fashion Accessories until 2007. Since 2007, they have been working at Paul Fredrick, initially as a Buyer for Dress Shirts and Cufflinks, then as a Senior Buyer for Dress and Casual Shirts. In 2020, they were promoted to Director of Merchandising and currently holds the position of Vice President, Merchandising from March 2021 onwards.

Michael Contreras attended Elon University in 1996, where they studied Music Education and Voice Performance. In the following year, they enrolled at Westminster Choir College, continuing their studies in Music Education and Voice Performance.
